Purpose and Goals
The purpose statement of the Mill Creek Children’s Ministry reflects the commitment of our membership to our children, who are the future of the church:
"To teach children to know and love God, grow and serve others and love and reach the lost."
Goals of our children's ministry
1. To present the Gospel clearly and give opportunities for each child to respond to the message through the urging of the Holy Spirit.
2. To teach the complete Word of God as truth and sufficient to meet the needs of each individual.
3. To give each child a working knowledge of the Word of God.
4. To encourage each child to develop his or her spiritual gift and to use that gift both now and in the future.
5. To create a clean, safe and inviting environment in which to study the Word of God.
6. To create fellowship activities to promote the Mill Creek family spirit.
7. To assist the parents in every way possible in the spiritual nourishment of their children.
8. To encourage our Team members and assist them in improving their knowledge and ability to handle the Word of God in their teaching situations.
9. To promote the ongoing of Mill Creek Community Church by providing a complete program of children’s ministries to compliment the ministry of the church to the entire family.
